Drop-in Activities
Intention
These drop-in activities demonstrate the printmaking technique of linocut to the public in the format of pop-ups (or what I call it, spontaneous workshops) that give participants an introductory experience of the art practice. The intention of such experiences is to provide an activity that can be enjoyed among people of all backgrounds while catering to the brands' vision for their events and live activations.

Case Study
For Murex's family-day event, I approached the linocut designs with the focus on providing the participants opportunities for creativity. Employees of the company get to chose from a set of hand-carved stamps and compose their pattern designs on canvas tote bags.
The set-up of the workshop is such that the art activity feels effortless and straightforward but at the same time encourages creative thinking through learning with the medium.

Process
Participants get to learn about the concept behind the workshop and the objectives of the activity, producing art pieces that act as a memorabilia specific to the theme/takeaway of an event.
